Research interests

Carlos Bibián Nogueras obtained his Bachelor Degree in Electronical Engineering and Automation and his Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Zaragoza. During this time he has been working on the analysis and classification of motor-related cortical potentials in spinal cord injury patients as well as in the EEG-based control of an upper-limb exoskeleton for stroke rehabilitation.

His research interests cover the exploration and evaluation of brain signatures of movement for the improvement of neuro-rehabilitation with a special focus on the influence of different forms of artifacts and filtering techniques on the outcome of BMI-based interventions.
