The aim of the ReHome project is to create an interactive training system for the home. Not only can movement training be tailored to the individual needs, goals and abilities of the patient but the system incorporates everyday life into the therapy. Thanks to a high degree of ergonomics, people with mild, moderate, and even severe paralysis of the arms can use the system. Kinematics and neurophysiological parameters such as muscle activity are recorded and processed via miniaturized sensors. These are embedded in an appealing and motivating digital health game, which intuitively conveys training progress and continuously motivates to more practice and further improvements.
